EMERGENCY SERVICES
24 Hour Crisis Line- Confidential assistance is available 24 Hours a day to victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking. You can connect to the crisis/hotline by dialing (828)369-5544 or dialing 911 and ask to be connected to a Victim Advocate from REACH.
Emergency Shelter- Shelter is available for victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking. The shelter is located in Macon County but also serves victims from Jackson County. Referrals can be made between counties and states. The shelter provides a safe residence and support for victims and their minor children.
Rape Crisis Companions- Crisis intervention, emotional support, medical accompaniment, victim's rights, and law enforcement information is made available to victims of rape/sexual assault. The Rape Crisis Companion will accompany the victim every step of the way, making sure their needs are met.
Court Advocate- A Court Advocate is available to assist victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault who are wanting to pursue legal action. They will provide information and support.
